I'll check my specs tomorrow. Unfortunately, I'm not sure off the top of my head
I love my EVO4s with smartycam for vintage FF racing. https://youtu.be/VHhT3tDmwjM?si=D6GP4l07Terglkr4 It is really helpful both on track and off.
Cheers,
Scott
Many DSRs in the late '60s through the 70s used Fiat based engines. PBS ones seemed to be some of the hottest.
looks like a fun project,
Scott
Helpful tip that looks nice too: use an AN3 bolt instead of a cotter pin.:D
Beer. Because you either earned it, need it, want to celebrate with another racer, or to repay another racer for help or a loaned tool.
VDCA would be your primary vintage group at those tracks. Doug Meis (s800racer on Apexspeed) is who you should contact.
With that said, SVRA is the only vintage group I'm aware of that allows...
Ask the inspector how much they weigh?
Nope. 4th set
Here's a link to my on boards from the weekend. 2019 FFCS Jefferson 500: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLatmtsw4npVdoCfK4pW5Mzf1OCcY5yhd0

Racers,
We're a little over two weeks away from round 1 at VIR. This also means it's time to save on early registration for round 2: the Jefferson 500 May 16-19 at Summit Point. We're expecting a...

Happy Holidays and Merry Off Season
Fake news:ha::beer:
6 weekends at the front. I did 7 and regretted it.
Measure and record everything! That car is a ringer, Bob was too. We look forward to seeing you at the front:thumbsup:
I was comparing the difference to the Dunlop setup, since those are what most monoposto FF and CFL cars have experience with in recent years. I had plenty of time in those too. YMMV:beer:
I had to stand each corner up by 0.2 degrees. Ran 1psi cold lower than the Dunlops, resulted in a win:checkered:
Joe,
Try idling your engine overnight, use the radiator as a heater core. Probably would only add 16 hours of engine time. ;)
See yah soon
19:32, 22:30, 24:28, 25:26 9:31 final. Might not be perfect, but it is very close, and was good enough for the fastest FF lap. Car ran on Dunlops. Most of the corners of the new track were 2nd...
Total toe
1-2/32" total toe out at the front, 1-2/32" total toe in at the rear works well for us:D
We run -0.5 to -0.7 degrees front, and 0.0 to -0.2 rear. Same settings as the Dunlops. Adjust from there based on temps
Sasco sports. They are located in VIR's raceplex. They heavily support vintage racing.:beer:

I have some good video, and will post it this week. It has been a great event with huge fields and great racing, unfortunately my video will effect the race results. I am not ok with someone passing...
I hope to have video
Joe,
I know it is short notice, but there should be a good group for the VDCA Wild Hare Run at VIR next month
Another fast Crossle is always welcome
we will be there!:beer: Just for a teaser for next year, here's the link to an onboard video from Scott Nettleship's car this past Jefferson 500 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_xG9_r1kLs ...
