I broke a rear upright (Legrand Mk6) and was wondering if anyone has a stash or makes these. Worst case we can have one cast/machined, but I thought I’d check here first.

MotoLita for old Jag, sure it I didn’t think of them for a SR.
but, sure enough they have a 12” for only about $180. Less than an OMP or Momo.
thanks for the suggestion
I need a new steering wheel for my Beach Mk4b.
the current wheel is 13” and I’m looking for something just a bit smaller (12” or around 300mm).
as much as I like the modern wheels (OMP...
congrats on the purchase.
If/when it is convenient , could you post a picture of the rear uprights? I’m asking because I have a car that supposedly has Legrand rear uprights and I’d like to...
Panasport wheels: I found a number of places that say they can narrow the Panasport wheels. I'm an idiot for not realizing there is a whole cottage industry of places that widen/narrow aluminum...
thanks for the tip!
I’ll contact them.

Keith, thanks for looking.
the other set of wheels with the car are American Racing mags (I believe new in the 1980’s?).
these fronts are also 13x7” and I’m looking for some 13x6’s or...
One of the next tasks for my new Beach Mk4b-II is to find appropriate front wheels.
The 2 sets which came with the car are both 13x7, which is 1" too wide per the original spec.
To be faithful to...
Thanks to all for great advice/ideas.
SVRA is going to let me run with the Wilwoods while I search for something more 'appropriate'
I was surprised to find airhearts fairly available used, but...
I found a guy that has lots of old airheart calipers, including 175x2’s.
any reservations about running a set of rebuilt Airheart vs new Girling?
JR @ GMT is a great guy.
I use KTR as experts to balance out my lack of skill and experience.
Ethan, David,
thanks for the ideas and kind words.
The calipers on the rear of the Beach are older Wilwood Dynalite singles. https://www.wilwood.com/Calipers/CaliperProd?itemno=120-4062

David, I hope that's not true because running modern 6 pot calipers on a vintage race car isn't in keeping with the spirit of the hobby.
But I also hope they are rational and reasonable with...
I recently purchased a Beach Mk4b. It appears to be in very good condition, but has been non-op for a long time so it needs a end to end recommissioning, and some minor configuration corrections.The...
Peter, I am new to racing and chose to start in vintage because of the 13/13 rule and gentleman-racer stereotype. You helped develop the Alfa I race, and it's so good I'll likely never outgrow it...
I'm going thru the front suspension of an Elva Mk6 (I'm doing a nut and bolt restoration), and the front suspension uprights and spindles were unusable. I bought a set of used spitfire uprights that...
(as related to me by a friend that vintage races several Sunbeam Alpines)
the place to buy parts is either Sunbeam Specialties on the west coast or Classic Sunbeam in New York.
If you needs...
A couple of friends and I rescued an incomplete Elva 100 FJ a few weeks ago in Hyde Park, MA (suburb of Boston), and we want to find out more about the car. One of the 2 owners is deceased and the...
