Looking for suggestions on how to clean out an old Merlyn oil tank that has been sitting as it was left minus the oil for 30 years. The only openings are the filler neck, inlet and outlet fittings

Emailed Clive Hayward at Merlyn (Colchester Racing Developments) to see if they had any history for this tag. Unfortunatley he said he didn't have any info for the number 190.

How did you come across this tag? I own a Merlyn 11A and bought it minus the chassis tag.
As there is no log book I have very little info as to it's history and was wondering what are the chances?...

David Clubine of Britain West Motor Sport might be able to help you. I think they new somebody in the Toronto area that made body parts for Merlyn 11's.

Your right, that's not funny. I remember way back in the '80's a first race weekend of the year being cancelled due to an 8" snow blanket covering Mosport. (or was that the 70's)
