I'd try a heat gun before a grinder.
You can get a fairly large area quite warm in ~20 minutes.
If you can - do it with it mostly mounted, and then pull/stretch/press/pry and hold it into the...

'Why must you pummel my car with the stones??' in an eastern European (maybe?) accent... from the guy years ago who would line up closely behind my friend's Lotus 7 clone with big power and big...
John Haftner (pretty sure he's on Apex - tuiguy) does knox mountain hill climb with a turbo engine and a MK9. He's made it last for quite a few years, and is, repeatedly, king of the mountain.

That is pretty similar to what I did in my Lotus Europa (rear shift gearbox with a stock pretzel-like rod linkage). 2 fairly heavy morse control cables (1 for fore-aft fork selection, 1 for...
Talk to Roger (RSS) on here, go to www.northwestfc.net.
The popular car in Alberta, at the moment, is FC.
The Manitoba guys have vintage FF. We don't get a lot of cross over from Alberta to...

Here is how the dog rings get back to the splines.
Otherwise, the gear stack is the same as a mk9.

These are MK6 pinion shafts.
The layshaft in my MK6 is the same as a MK9.
The dog ring drives all connect together back toward the splined...
Ah - and my car isn't ready for this weekend either.
Talk with Helmut / Murray / etc - lots of FF guys will be there with lots of experience.
I like reading it - hope to see it at Gimli in Aug (I think there is a solo that weekend too, right?).

Hey Corey,
There is a picture in this thread:

Rick, I think Lynn has an '85 Reynard, not the '87+ you're used to.
If the oil pump housing is at all loose, I can imagine it not being able to create enough suction to empty the pan. I would also...

Hey Brad,
Someone here will be able to help - any chance of chassis pictures with the bodywork off?

Agreed, but I don't believe it was called the Export A series until '89 (although I'll defer to anyone who was racing in Ont/Que at the time), and in the previous ads, it is specifically called out...
Here are results for Canadian F2000 - http://www.autocourse.ca/index.php?file=results.html
If it was really Export A series, that was started in '89 as far as I can tell.

Dan, I had wavy video when I first mounted my bullet camera onto the rollbar as well. I put a small amount of foam under it to reduce 'hard' vibration, and it cleaned the video up very nicely.

Hey Jean,
I have some 7100's apart in the garage right now - similar, except no external canister. They aren't difficult to take apart, but you'll want to keep everything extrememly clean as you...
I'm not sure about the cooper-chinook, but that certainly isn't the last Chinook around. An Apex member has a couple, and I know of another one that went to Denver.

Didn't Arch reset 'frame' numbers each year? So there could be a '68 #135, and a '69 #135...
I'm assuming Arch built the chassis, that the 51 was built multiple years, and that you're looking at...
Nice! I've got a BDD in my Europa - bolts right in! You'd be silly not to... well, after you try it out in the 51 a couple of times first...
Ah, not all regions in Canada utilize a different rule-set. I believe some of BC, Ontario, and the Maritimes still use Canadian rules, leaving some of BC, the prairies, and Quebec similar to SCCA.
