I have not used the VD79 for a few years now, but from 99 to 2006, I had the Spax on it and had no issues with them.....
I use on my VD79
Front G300 (body 6", specs 8" closed, 12" fully open);
Rear G330 (body 7", specs 10" closed, 13.250" fully open).
Don't know if they are still available but I got them from...

The email I used nj.sales@mcmaster.com
reply from Amanda cle.sales@mcmaster.com
I sent an email to McMaster-Carr (New Jersey) and here the reply is that they will ship to either in Canada or the US
Congratulation young men....
Neat, I see you in this car.....

I totally agree, in my opinion drops should be based on events that competitors enter & show-up. If you crash or have a technical problem then it qualifies that race/week-end as a drop.
Totally agree :thumbsup::thumbsup: and who knows maybe in 2012, it could be the Young 59.... who will represent Canada.:thumbsup:
You should list who is registered.
Do we have track time on Friday?
It should look something like this: http://www.vandiemen.registry.freeservers.com/images/vandiemenfa73_1973_250x104.jpg
That's why I did not go, I am not a new face ;-)
Congratulation to the OFFC Champs:
Groupe A = Dean Baker
Groupe B = Kieran Murphy
Groupe C = Mike Lee
Special :thumbsup::thumbsup: to Caitlin Johnston.
:checkered:
Count me in too....
Oui..
Does it look like the rear top part of frame where the cross member goes be detachable for ease of removing the engine?
If so it could be a Pulsar..... Modified Crossle 30/32...
Don't forget the VW casing is upside down, so it should be about 1/2" to 3/4" below the side plug....
