45 Years of Formula Ford!
An Invitation To All Formula Ford Racers
Forty-Five Years of Formula Ford
Who: Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing (RMVR)
What: A Formula Ford Invitational race weekend inviting all Formula Fords, regardless of year of manufacture.
When: July 27-28, 2013
Where: High Plains Raceway in Colorado
Why: To celebrate 45 Years since the first points championship of Formula Ford racing.
Each year RMVR has a charity event race weekend. This year is our Third Annual Race Against Kids’ Cancer to benefit the Morgan Adams Foundation.
Our Special Feature this year will Celebrate 45 years of Formula Ford. We are inviting all Formula Fords, including all contemporary cars. This will produce a giant assembly of these great race cars, certainly one of the largest open wheel grids in RMVR's history and probably the largest grid of FFs in the entire history of regional FF racing.
If you race a Formula Ford, please join us. Here is a link to a more detailed info sheet on what promises to be a fun weekend. Please feel free to contact (see info sheet) us with any questions or post you questions here.
37 FF's entered and still counting
Come on folks, it's not too late to get in on the fun. Not sure but I think this might be about the biggest FF field since the RA 40th. When was the last race where you had umbrella girls?
RAKC & 45 yrs of FF in the US
I'll be there!
This is one event everyone should participate in. Not only was it a blast, it's for a great cause.

AiM Sports data acq. seminar
Another thing we're doing at the Race Against Kids' Cancer is putting on a data acquisition seminar at the track on Friday, July 31st. Anyone who raises $250 or more is invited to attend the seminar with Roger Caddell from AiM. He will spend the morning discussing how data can help you improve as a driver and racer and how you can use it to improve your car. At lunch Roger and Ross Bentley will have a discussion about how driver coaching and data can be used together. Finally, Roger will put Solo systems in a bunch of your cars for the afternoon to collect real data that afternoon to analyse and discuss.
If you are thinking of getting data or already have it, this will get you well up the learning curve in a hurry. At the same time, you'd be supporting our efforts to fund much needed pediatric cancer research through the Morgan Adams Foundation
Come on out the the race, it will be a hoot!
