Final EWC Points / Awards

Thanks to everyone who helped “scrub” the provisional results. The few changes made were not material to the driver and team championships. Congratulations again to Allen Wheatcroft (FF) and Phil Kingham (CFF) for nabbing the driver championships and to the West team for retaining the Lamont Cup. The West team now leads the series, 4 to 3.

Please note that to be eligible for the end-of-season awards, you must have raced on BOTH sides of the lake. For those of you who towed at least once through Chicago, you were rewarded for the effort.

Important note: it is each driver's responsibility to contact sponsors to claim their awards. I'm sending e-mails to all the EWC award sponsors and they will be expecting to hear from you.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed to this year’s EWC...both on and off the track. It was not the biggest year for the series, but it was still pretty damn good.

The Lola is completely assembled from the firewall forward. Engine and transaxle will be decked soon. See you all in 2008...and at the FF40th at Road America July 2009.
