1987 Swift DB4
1987 Swift DB4, chassis# 03087. This car was purchased by me approximately a year ago, and I have decided to go a different direction with my racing.
The car is in excellent condition, with a low time engine, that was related to me to be a Hasselgren motor, that had been refreshed by Dal Allison, in Colorado, with four races on it. The car sat for a period of time, with the last documented race in May of 2015. The car starts, and runs Great! Since purchasing the car, I had the shocks rebuilt (and Dyno’d) by Harrison Auto Dynamics, the radiator renewed by Arizona Performance radiator, added a new dash, with a New AIM EVO 4S data logger with GPS, and New AIM GS color digital dash. I also installed New OMP FIA belts, good through 2025, and it has a new windshield, New rear A/S cable, and new carbon mirrors.
Included with the car is a spare nose, crushbox, spare side pods, extra set of wheels (Jongbloed), New set of Good Year slicks (not mounted yet), and SCCA logbook included as well. More pics upon request. 33K OBO Johnhttps://www.apexspeed.com/forums/att...d=107121&stc=1https://www.apexspeed.com/forums/att...d=107122&stc=1https://www.apexspeed.com/forums/att...d=107120&stc=1https://www.apexspeed.com/forums/att...d=107119&stc=1https://www.apexspeed.com/forums/att...d=107118&stc=1https://www.apexspeed.com/forums/att...d=107117&stc=1https://www.apexspeed.com/forums/att...d=107114&stc=1https://www.apexspeed.com/forums/att...d=107115&stc=1https://www.apexspeed.com/forums/att...d=107116&stc=1

A gorgeous car that has been pristinely prepped in the traditional DiGiovanni style. A steal at 35k

Engine hours or miles?
Are you able to provide any confirmation of the hours or miles on the engine? What work did Dal Allison carry out on the engine? And when did he do that work?
Thanks

I have receipts from the engine build. It was built in 09, but according to previous owners, it was started and run. The car apparently changed hands a couple of times after the build due to various personal reasons. The logbook documents the last race in 2015. I have to go by the word of previous owner’s. The engine apparently has four races on it. Like I mentioned, it starts and runs Great.
After researching a bit more regarding the engine time, I lowered the price to 33K OBO. The engine is a well running, strong motor.

the only flipping I’ve seen is taking a car and making it better. I saw the Atlantic when it was bought and I’ve seen it recently. Definitely a better car now.

You sure won’t be making any money on my Crossle if you ever sell it :p

If John has ever made $ on race car it’s because his meticulous prep time and effort that he puts into the car.
Most race ready cars that even come out of reputable shops in my opinion still need a proper going through at minimum and usually a lot more.
for those who want and expect a car prepped to the highest standards you will be pleased with what John does. Very few cars meet the standard I expect. I would buy any car sight unseen with confidence from John

John always buys good cars and makes them better before he drives or sells them .
His immaculate approach to satisfy his high standards lease no detail too small .
All his cars are eye candy and winning .
John doesn't "flip " cars . He discriminately procures them , loves them ,nurtures them , feeds them and then reluctantly sets them free. . Something we can all benefit from .
I wouldn't hesitate to adopt one of his children .
I'm jealous of anyone who buys this car .

I'm surprised this exceptional car hasn't sold yet. It's only a matter of time before Masters creates a spot for them, and the value increases
