Steel Monroe Indycar double adjustable shock #s

Just wondering if anyone has any idea what the #s stamped in the main body of the shocks signify. I've talked to quite a few older Indycar guys and no one seems to know what they mean. The ones I have have three lines of stamped info on the main body The first is MONROE, the second is RSA4935-2 and the last is RCND 479-4B, I do know all the Monroe race shocks were built in their experimental dept , but haven't been able to find anyone who knows what their #s mean. More for my own edification than anything else.
