McGregor FF2 - Formula Ford
Dear all,
Currently I am investigating the history of the Mc Gregor Formula Fords (both FF1 and FF2) designed by the Dutchman Kees van de Grint.
Unfortunately, the FF1 driven by Glenn Bosch was completely damaged by an accident during the 1979 race as Castle Combe.
A renewed FF2, also constructed by Van de Grint and driven by Bosch in 1980, was described as “pencil slim” by the English magazine “Autosport”. That year, Glen Bosch won the Wilkes Business Forms Formula Ford 1600 Championship with his McGregor FF2. That same year, London-based James How from Sark Racing acquired this car.
To my latest information, James How sold the FF2 during the first months of 1981 to Jerry Bolla, an American.
Is anyone able to inform me about this car, whether or not it is still active? And does anyone knows Jerry Bolla and could help me with his contact details.
Also, I am still looking for further photographs of both the McGregor FF1 and FF2.
Any form of assistance in this research is appreciated!
Best regards,
Henk A. Hazelaar
