I'm wondering what became of a car I saw at Lime Rock Park 15 years or so ago.
If my memory is correct, it was a black Ralt RT-4 that had a different look to it, almost Swift DB-4 like. I think it had been reengineered by Carrol Smith. The two differences I remember were the sleek body work (pointed nose, different engine cover) and the engine repositioned forward (I think). The owner was a regular FA competitor, not sure of the name, worked for Sherri Cup Corporation (Paul C.? Crew chief John?)
I occasionally think about that car and wonder if it still exists.

I think the car your talking about was owned by Paul Carozzo. If anybody knows about where the car went, It would be Joe Stimola. If you want a phone number I have it.

Hello Russ,
I am pretty sure that was a F3 RT31 tub modified for FA. The shocks were mounted on top of the tub rather than vertically inside.

Could have been a standard Ralt 1988 RT-4 where Ralt tried all sorts of tricks on the suspensions, front and rear. Weren't that many made (less than 25.) Best combination was to graft the 1986 rear end onto the 1988 tub. Was a bolt on change as the side pods for 1988 were the same as 1986. Front end worked well but 1988 rear end was a disaster. Dennis Eade made one go well as did a 1988 RT-5 driver from somewhere in the Wisconsin area.
