FST Drivers did well. Sometimes almost three abreast through the kink at 110mph with great car control! Saturday qualifying was high sixties, sunny and low humidity. In other words lap record environment. Three of our drivers were running below the current record. Rob Clark, Doug Seim and Ed Womer. Wow! The bad was that Rob and Ed came together and Ed's car was unfixable at the track. That was really sad as he was flying.
The track and the event were nice. Where else can you see the NEOHIO lunch ladies bring lunch to we paddock dwellers. Much thanks to SOM Duane Harrington for all his work and track manager Fred Wolfe for bending over backwards to make the event happen. They ended up at 70 cars which was the breakeven point.
Better luck with SCCA and the schedule next year. We will be back.
