F600
I’m still doing my homework after deciding to go with this class. If my intent is to primarily autox, would I be bettor off with a F500 vs a F600? If I buy a car that is set up for road racing, what kind modifications should I make for autox? There is very good possibility that I will end up road racing. Can one car accomplish both?
Thanks for your help.

Welcome! It is generally accepted that the 2-stroke/CVT F500s are better for autoX than the bike-engined F500s. The autoX guys are very active on the F500/FM Facebook Group.

I'm running an 87 Novakar; I autocross it and road race it (in my case vintage racing).
I'm not looking to be anything more than competitive locally so doing dual duty is easy. A two stroke car is indeed better for autocross but a bike engined car could do very well at local events. For road racing either drive train can do well; the bike engined cars are less work on race weekends.
Here is what I do to change the car; change the rear sprocket, give it toe out for autocross and raise the rear ride height for autocross.......that's it.
